Name: Madera County Academic Decathlon Lecture DayDate: October 26, 2017Time: 10:00 AM - 2:40 PM PDTEvent Description:More than 600 Academic Decathletes from throughout California will attend lectures focused on Africa: African art and music, the Atlantic and the West African slave trade, African colonialism, imperialism and independence, the novel Things Fall Apart, infectious diseases, and speech. Lectures will be delivered by Valley professors and the public is invited to attend. The cost to attend the lectures is $10 per person.
